We will advertise specific job roles on our website should they become available.

Employed opportunity:

Clinical Psychologist – Band 8a (children’s residential care specialism)

We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist who has considerable experience working with children and adolescents, particularly those that have experienced a high degree of disadvantage in their early lives.

More specifically, the work will include consultation, training and support to residential care staff, and assessments and direct therapy for children and young people as appropriate. There will be an expectation of contribution to the ongoing development of the residential care home support service. There is also opportunity for involvement in Autism assessments.

Experience of working with adoptive families, children in foster care, or those in residential care is highly desirable. Experience/training in DDP, Theraplay, EMDR or other trauma-informed therapies is also highly desirable.
