Clinical Psychologist or Counselling Psychologist Job Vacancy (residential care homes specialism)

We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist or a Counselling Psychologist who has considerable experience working with children and adolescents, particularly those that have experienced a high degree of disadvantage in their early lives.

Join a dynamic and passionate team of Clinical Psychologists, Psychological Therapists, and Assistant Psychologists, where your role will be focused on making a meaningful impact in children’s residential care homes. In addition, you’ll play an important part in shaping the ongoing development of the residential care home support service.

Your role will also extend to supporting children and adolescents who are adopted or in foster care, including conducting assessments, providing therapeutic interventions, and offering consultation and training to parents and carers.

Furthermore, you’ll have the opportunity to become involved in Autism assessments, expanding your skillset and impact.

Experience working with adoptive families, children in foster care, or those in residential care is highly desirable, as well as training or experience in trauma-informed therapies like DDP, Theraplay, or EMDR. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in a supportive and collaborative environment while directly contributing to the well-being of vulnerable children and young people.
